Words has been helping some of the UK's biggest names motivate and inform their employees and clients for over 15 years with tailor-made magazines. Here are just some of those stories:

Barclays 

The bank came to us after struggling to get the message across to its team, with a quarterly magazine. Feedback showed employees liked the name, but not the content. So we went back to basics, interviewing those with a story to tell, recognising employees who had performed well and celebrating the successes they brought to the business. Then we presented them in a fresh and exciting way. The result is a much-loved magazine, echoing the values of the bank itself, and bringing a diverse range of employees together. Barclays was so impressed, it asked us to handle several other internal initiatives, including the prestigious Woman of the Year campaign.

ARAMARK

One of the UK's biggest hospitality providers asked Words to create a magazine to unite thousands of employees across multiple sites. The result is The MARK, an innovative publication with a strong motivational voice and eye-catching design. It recently won a European communications award at the FEIEA Grand Prix in Brussels.

Peacocks

Our longest serving client has repositioned itself over the years we've been working together, from value retailer to high street fashion retailer. So Peacocks asked us to communicate this important change through their publications. We've refreshed the style and content of their colleague magazine Fan mail, to bring colleagues on board with the change. Fan mail is now more popular than it's ever been - we know that because we ask readers what they think of every issue.

Jewson

The UK's leading builders merchant wanted a way to reward their best trade customers and show them that Jewson could supply not just the building materials, but superior industry knowledge to help them run their business better.  So we created The Level - the first magazine of its kind in the industry. The blend of industry news, building features and sales information has strongly enhanced Jewson's reputation as experts in their field - and allowed the company to get to know their most valuable customers even better.
